‘The eye cannot say to the hand, “I do not need you,” nor in turn can the head say to the foot, “I do not need you.”’
— 1 Corinthians 12:21 (NET Second Edition - Strong's)
"1 Corinthians 14:29 (NKJV Strong's) Let two or three prophets speak, & let the others judge."
What the Scriptures state about speaking in tongues in a public church gathering:
"1 Corinthians 14:39-40 (NKJV Strong's) Therefore, brethren, desire earnestly to prophesy, and do not forbid to speak with tongues. Let all things be done decently and in order."
"1 Corinthians 14:23 (NKJV Strong's) Therefore if the whole church comes together in one place, and all speak with tongues, and there come in those who are uninformed or unbelievers, will they not say that you are out of your mind?"

"1 Corinthians 14:24-25 (NKJV Strong's) But if all prophesy, and an unbeliever or an uninformed person comes in, he is convinced by all, he is convicted by all. And thus the secrets of his heart are revealed; and so, falling down on his face, he will worship God and report that God is truly among you."

1 John 2:20-21 (NKJV Strong's) But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know all things. I have not written to you because you do not know the truth, but because you know it, and that no lie is of the truth.
1 Corinthians 2:15-16 (NKJV Strong's) But he who is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is rightly judged by no one. For "who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct Him?" But we have the mind of Christ.
1 Corinthians 2:12-13 (NKJV Strong's) Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God.
These things we also speak, not in words which man's wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
Ephesians 2:8-9 (NKJV Strong's) . For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.
"Jeanie talks about what she sees in the prophetic movement in America today:
division, delusion, destruction, dependency & the desire to hear prophets above God"
John 16:13-15 (NKJV Strong's) However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you. All things that the Father has are Mine. Therefore I said that He will take of Mine and declare it to you.
"How is it then, brethren? Whenever you come together, each of you has a psalm, has a teaching, has a tongue, has a revelation, has an interpretation. Let all things be done for edification. — 1 Corinthians 14:26b (NKJV Strong's)"
1 Corinthians 14:3 (NKJV Strong's) But he who prophesies speaks edification and exhortation and comfort to men.
Ephesians 4:11-12 (KJV Strong's) And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ

"Ephesians 1:16-19 (NKJV Strong's) making mention of you in my prayers: that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe,"
"Point 1, Was the prophecy scriptural?"

"2 Peter 1:19-21 (KJV Strong's) We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost."
"Ephesians 1:17 (NET Second Edition - Strong's) I pray that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, will give you spiritual wisdom and revelation in your growing knowledge of him,"

"Deuteronomy 18:21-22 (NET Second Edition - Strong's) Now if you say to yourselves, ‘How can we tell that a message is not from the Lord?’ — whenever a prophet speaks in my name and the prediction is not fulfilled, then I have not spoken it; the prophet has presumed to speak it, so you need not fear him.”"
"Matthew 28:18-20 (NET Second Edition - Strong's) Then Jesus came up and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”"

"Acts 1:6-7 (NIV-WS) Then they gathered around him and asked him, “Lord, are you at this time going to restore the kingdom to Israel?”

For no one has ever shown the mighty power or performed the awesome deeds that Moses did in the sight of all Israel."
"Malachi 4:5-6 (NIV-WS) “See, I will send the prophet Elijah to you before that great and dreadful day of the Lord comes. He will turn the hearts of the parents to their children, and the hearts of the children to their parents; or else I will come and strike the land with total destruction.”"

Because thou hast rejected the word of the Lord,
he hath also rejected thee from being king."
